World Child Project’s Art Gallery Auction and Fundraising Event

Attended the WCP fund raiser and took a few pics, below is a little about what they do.

WCP brings together volunteers that are leaders in the worlds of art, business, education, medicine and science, and give them opportunities to contribute directly; by simply doing what they are good at and what they are most passionate about.  WCP identifies orphanage directors who have already developed effective programs but lack the financial and human capital resources to build on their successes. We then invest time and money to develop integrated education, health and direct care programs that are both effective and sustainable.

WCP understands that child poverty is a complex problem that no one single intervention can adequately and permanently address. Instead, we attack the problem from a “systems” perspective by focusing on projects that have more than one positive outcome for orphaned and abandoned children and their communities. In this way, WCP develops programs that confront the current infrastructural obstacles that perpetuate child poverty.

Pacific Festival OC Day 2

All the pictures are up from this weekends Pacific Festival OC. Some good artists, great shows and wonderful people. My only complaint is that Sunday press only got general admission, which makes getting the right pics difficult. All the photos are now up on 944. Check them out.

Steve Aoki at Pacific Fest OC Day 1

The Sounds, Steve Aoki, EC Twins and a bunch more all made appearances at this years Pacific Festival OC. Also DJ DC broke the record for the longest dj set at over 5 days in length. I found Hello Kitty looking very sweet on the first day. Pictures from the first day will be up soon on 944.

Scotts on a Thursday

Check out the photos from Scotts last night. Once again ran into my old friend Hello Kitty she was a little upside down but doing well. Tonight, Saturday and Sunday Sutra5 and the Pacific fest, be on the look out. Hope to see you all there.

Above and Beyond at Sutra was Above and Beyond

Last nights Above and Beyond show was incredible . The crowed was really moving. All the pics are up on 944. This is part of the Sutra5 series featuring a different artist every night the next 5 days. Once again I meet a bunch of great people and ran into a few old friends.

CAMM at Mesa in The Camp

Tuesday night at Mesa was great, exciting crowed with good live and spun music. The place has a retractable roof, what else could you ask for? Not sure what the other nights are like but Tuesday was a good one. The pics are here on 944.

Sunset Strip Music Festival All of the Photos are up

All of the photos are now up from the Music Festival, click here for Friday night and here for Saturday night. Once again I ran into my friend Hello Kitty, this time she was hanging around in the gutter, I also saw Slash, Common, Smashing Pumpkins (the pics didn't come out well for this one) and all of the other exciting people I also meet. On Friday the Virgin Air crew put on a great party at the Andaz as well.
